Breaking down games one by one on large slates can help us get the “big” picture. This article will give you my favorite NBA DFS picks for 11-8-19. Eleven games is a lot to sift through. Due to time constraints I will only be able to get you half way there. I know. Boo. However, when you get through this article hop in our free chat and my colleagues can get you the rest of the way. Let’s dive into the first half of tonight’s games.

NBA DFS Picks – Pistons @ Pacers

Andre Drummond has been a beast so far this season with the injuries to his fellow teammates. His 26.5% usage rate and his 60.6% true shooting percentage set him up nicely to capitalize on his 36 minutes per game. He will draw a match up with Myles Turner. He is as porous as they come below the basket. His 110 defensive rating proves my point. If Turner is unable to take the court again, Drummond will face Jakarr Sampson and Domantas Sabonis. Neither of these two deter me in my decision making. They have a league average defensive rating compared to Drummond’s 111.7 well above average offensive rating.

Detroit has run their offense through the low post. They have also worked in some high pick and roll. This is followed up by kick outs to the three-point line. The Pistons should also be without the talent of Derrick Rose, Tim Frazier, and Reggie Jackson. As short as the Pistons are on bodies it boosts the usage of Luke Kennard, Bruce Brown, Jr., Markieff Morris, and Christian Wood. Tony Snell has a great game the other night but he should come crashing back to earth. His six for six performance from behind the arc that accounted for his entire fantasy production. He will not make the grade for my NBA DFS picks today.

Pacers

On the Pacers side of the ball, Malcolm Brogdon has been a great addition to the backcourt in the absence of Victor Oladipo. There is a lot of news up in the air so it is hard to nail down a strategy. We already know that Bitadze and Lamb will not suit up on Friday. The availability of Myles Turner is uncertain so he will be a game-time-decision. This could determine whether the Pacers run with a big lineup or use more of their combo forwards. In order to make my NBA DFS picks in this game I will be monitoring this news closely on Friday. Indiana should run away with this one on the amount of depth they have over Detroit.
