Welcome back ladies and gentlemen! Lets kick off our week with a 11 game NBA Draftkings Slate! Tonight is stacked with some big name players but who will be the value finds? Well lets get to diving in on the research and knock it out of the park! Good luck and cash out!
NBA Draftkings – Top Point Guards
The Golden State Warriors are showing how bad they are suffering but it’s Steph Curry and on an 11 game slate, who knows how overlooked he’ll be. Curry hasn’t also looked as great as he would want to kick off the new season as he has scored 33 and 40.5 fantasy points in his first two games. He is averaging 1.22 fantasy points in 30 minutes while holding a usage rate of 34%.
Both, the Pelicans and the Warriors, are playing at a fast pace also to kick the season off. Pelicans are averaging 113 possessions per game while the Warriors are averaging 111. You know I love the fast paced games. On the defensive side of things, the Pelicans are currently allowing opposing point guards to average 33 points, nine rebounds and nine assist per game. While the point guard depth is deep for this slate, lets hope Steph Curry is overlooked.
Trae Young is a monster! He has now scored 62.3 and 65.3 fantasy points in his first two games. Now the one downside is that the Hawks have decreased in pace so far since last season as they are only averaging 101 possessions in their first two games. Young has logged 37 and 36 minutes in his first two games while holding a usage rate of 38.7%. He is also averaging 1.77 fantasy points per minute but that’s off two games so we’ll need to be careful on how to approach him and his exposure to our lineups.
Young also has a tougher match-up with the Philadelphia 76ers. They have held opposing point guards to average 23 points, four rebound, and three assist so far to kick off the season. They also have played at a much quicker pace but if that’s the case for tonight, Trae Young should do just fine.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has started his season off right with his new team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has put up 33, 52.8, and 39.3 fantasy points in the first three games while averaging 34.3 minutes. SGA also holds a usage rating of 28.2% while averaging 1.21 fantasy points per minute.
SGA and the Clippers also get a match-up with the new look Houston Rockets who are still trying to figure it out with James Harden and Russell Westbrook. The defense is there though and will be a challenge. The Rockets are allowing opposing point guards to average 21 points, 10 assists and 3 rebounds per game. He’s at a lower price then some of the top stars and should be able to return his value plus more tonight.
