NHL DFSNHL DFS – Breakdown

Hello everyone! Things are getting crazy this NHL season so I am going to be bringing you a new style article moving forward for NHL DFS. This article is going to focus on my three top line stacks, four of my favorite defensive plays and my favorite goalies on the slate.

NHL DFS – Line Stacks:

from dailyfaceoff

Carolina first and second lines are the best lines that are in great spots tonight against a very weak Rangers defense. The Hurricanes push the pace and a tired Rangers team coming off of a back to back. The Rangers are in a prime spot to get blown out. The Vegas line on Carolina winning at home is currently -250, which is insane. Favorite plays here are Aho, with Teravainen and Slavin or Hamilton on the back end.

Vegas Power-play line one is in a great spot. If you know anything about me then you know that targeting Toronto is my bread and butter, The team is awful defensively and it doesn’t matter where they play, home or away. I like the power play unit here because it gives you more room to work with in other places.

Los Angels Kings Power-play line one is another one to target. This team is one I still haven’t quite figured out yet. It looks like they should be a lot better than their record shows. They are putting pucks towards the net and Ottawa is letting up just under 35 shots per game. The Kings are in a tremendous spot and I think we can get them at low ownership.

NFL DFS – Defensive Linemen:
Dougie Hamilton – To fit in with that Carolina stack, I love building with the number one defender who gets power play time.
Brent Burns – He was a let down the last time we played him but he is a stud and you can always build around him.
Drew Doughty – Again fitting in with the stacks I want as many minutes as I can get and Doughty logs a ton of minutes every night, averaging 24 or more minutes per game so far.
Thomas Chabot – This is the other side of the coin from the Kings/Senators game. Chabot leads the league in TOI and he is a play maker. Slide him in if you have the salary or don’t feel like paying up for Burns.

NFL DFS – Goalies:
Darcy Kuemper
Marc-Andre Fluery
Petr Mrazek
Thomas Griess

Other Exploit able spots:
Tor 2/ Mon 1/ Phi 1/ Nyi 1/ Pitt PP1

Thank you for reading and this article which is geared more towards GPP contests and not so much cash games. I think we draw the Kings at low ownership tomorrow and they are in a prime spot to break the slate. You can see my previous article at @ Fantasysportsgroup
