NHL Draftkings One Timer: Good afternoon everybody and thank you for joining us on this Friday, which brings us a fantastic eight game slate. I absolutely love slates between 4-6 games however eight games isn’t so bad, follow along as we break down this slate and my plays for tonight!
Right off the rip here I can pin point one game stack I love and three teams I want to target, Game stack will be NJ/PHI both teams have been scoring of late and bad on D. I love SJ at home vs WPG, WSH at home Vs Buff and Carolina vs Detroit at home.
Top Plays of the Night:
Alexander Ovechkin– The great eight is playing like Tom Brady it just seems like this guy doesn’t age he is scoring at will and he has a matchup vs a Buff team who still struggles on D and on the PK.
Brent Burns– What can you say he is involved in almost all of the offense for the San Jose Sharks and is playing upwards of 30 minutes a night, I love his spot tonight and will have him in 90% of my line ups.
Joonas Donskoi- When I do these top players kind of look I want to give you some value as well, Donskoi is filling in on the top wing with injuries ravaging the Avalanche Team. Even if he isn’t on the top wing he is getting powerplay time with Nathan Mckinnon which will help even the worst hockey players become better.
John Carlson- He is handsdown the best player on the Washington Capitals play him every night until his production slows down, something like nine goals 18 assists so far on the year.
Top Stacks of the Night:
Backstrom-Oshie-Ovechkin – probably the chalkiest of stacks but should see plenty of opportunity, this is a very expensive line so we will need to find value in other spots if you’re going to stack this fully.
Kane-Hertl-Lebanc- Less Chalky but still highly owned stack of the night if I were to guess WPG has been horrible on the road. Also just horrible on D all year, this line could have its way with them easily, could see a 4 goal performance from the top line of SJ. They need something to go right for them they have been pretty disappointing so far to start this year.
Niederreiter- Stall – Teravainen – Cheaper of the top line stacks of the night but they can score and have some grinders on this line that put a ton of pressure on opposing teams. You may want to put in Svechnikov because he has been playing insane over Niederreiter.
BOLD LOOK OF THE NIGHT:
Stack the PHI/NJD Game- the top two lines have been on fire for both these teams, play JVR/Giroux/Voracek Vs Palmieri/Hughes/Hall and see where it goes. This could be a 5-4 type game tonight and 90% of the scoring has come from these lines. I LOVE Jesper Bratt as well as Pavel Zacha but with Hughes already being so cheap you may not need to dig this deep.
